Column Five Media and Lookout have created an Infographic that does well to visualize the range of personal information on your mobile phone, giving you an idea of the complexity of privacy issues at hand for mobile security. Below is a portion of the full infographic. The above snapshot illustrates the types of information your smartphone gathers on you, not specifically the information you put on your phone – that can additionally include all your emails, PDFs, or other files that could contain personal information on yourself or others, and private corporate data. Currently, only 35% of smartphone users feel confident that most mobile apps protect the privacy of their information. So, what are you doing to protect your information?
